Our planet can efficiently supply humanity’s energy needs. The sub-surface is a source of energy – it is hot and it contains many resources. With care, we can prevent environmental impacts and reduce the carbon footprint of our expanding society. Science 4 Clean Energy is a research project financed by the European Commission looking at the quantification and reduction of the environmental impacts of geo-energy operations. We are working on making clean energy safer.
